Spotify Wrapped made the year end music recap a thing, and every other service has followed. If Deezer is your main app, you are probably wondering whether you get the same treatment. The short version: yes, Deezer runs its own version, though it works a little differently.
Quick answer: Deezer's recap is called My Deezer Year. It arrives around the start of December and pulls your most played tracks, artists, albums, and genres into a set of themed, shareable cards. The idea is the same as Wrapped, and the exact features shift a little from year to year.
What My Deezer Year shows
The 2025 edition is a good guide to what you can expect. It covered:
- Your top tracks for the year
- Your top artists
- Your favorite albums
- Your top genres
- How much time you spent with your most played artist
All of it comes packaged as themed cards built for sharing, and the visual theme changes each year, so the recap you get this December will not look like last December's. It leans on visuals rather than deep numbers. If you want detailed listening stats, that is a different question, and it is covered below.
Worth being honest about one thing: the exact set of cards is not fixed. Deezer adds and drops features between editions, so treat the list above as the shape of the thing rather than a guarantee.
When does it come out?
Late November into early December. In practice that means you should start watching the app around the last week of November.
Deezer has been moving earlier. My Deezer Year 2025 launched on December 1, 2025, which put it ahead of both Spotify Wrapped and Apple Music Replay that year. So if you use more than one service, Deezer may well be the first recap to land in your feed.
If you do not see it yet, it has probably not rolled out for the season, or it has not reached your account. Keep an eye on the app's home screen and your notifications around that window. It usually shows up as a banner or card you tap straight into.
How to see your Deezer listening the rest of the year
This is where Deezer, like most apps, is thinner than people want. Outside the year end recap, native listening stats are limited. A couple of things help:
- Flow and your play history give you a rough sense of what you have been into lately.

How Deezer's recap compares to the others
The formula is nearly identical across services. Spotify has Wrapped, Apple Music has Replay, and Last.fm gives you a running total all year. If you use more than one app, it is worth seeing how they stack up:
One nice thing about Last.fm and similar trackers is that you are not stuck waiting until December. The numbers build up as you listen, so you can check them in March or July and get a real answer.
