Once you're in, Wrapped plays like a set of Instagram-style story cards. You tap through your top songs, top artists, total minutes listened, your listening personality, and the rest, and there are share buttons on most cards so you can post them or save the images to your camera roll.

A quick note on who gets it: Wrapped is available to both free and Premium users. It is not a paid perk. You do need to have actually used Spotify during the year, though. For Wrapped 2025, Spotify's rule of thumb was that you needed to have streamed at least 30 songs for more than 30 seconds each, across at least five different artists. During the season, Spotify does put up a web page at spotify.com/wrapped. On a computer, that page will sometimes load a version of your recap in the browser once you're logged in, so it's worth trying. But the full interactive, swipeable, shareable story, the one with all the animated cards and the share buttons, is built for the phone app. Even the guides that walk you through the web version admit it plainly. As Tom's Guide put it, while you can experience Wrapped in a web browser, "it's best experienced through the mobile app."

There's another catch on mobile. If you open spotify.com/wrapped on your phone's browser, it usually just bounces you into the app rather than showing anything in the browser. So the web page is really a desktop convenience, and even there it's a stripped-down version of what you get on your phone.

This gap frustrates a lot of people, and they've been vocal about it for years. There's a long-running request on the Spotify Community titled "[Desktop][Wrapped] Allow us to see Wrapped on PC" that has racked up hundreds of likes and is still marked as a "Live Idea." The original poster's complaint is blunt: "We used to be able to see it on PC. Why would you take it away?" Others in the thread point out that they're stuck on older phones they can't afford to replace, that the mobile app crashes when they try to open Wrapped, and that there's no technical reason a desktop or web client couldn't show the same thing. One commenter flagged it as an accessibility problem for disabled users who rely on a computer. It's a fair gripe, and Spotify has not fully solved it. Where to find Wrapped after the season ends

Wrapped isn't up all year. The in-app hub usually disappears within a few weeks of launch, and once it's gone, there's no official button to replay a past year's full slideshow.

What does stick around is the auto-generated playlist. Every year Spotify drops a "Your Top Songs [year]" playlist into your library, and those don't vanish. To find an old one, just search "Your Top Songs" plus the year, like "Your Top Songs 2024," and it should come up. That won't give you the animated cards back, but it does preserve the actual songs that defined your year.
