How to Download a Spotify Profile Picture (Full Size)

  1. Go to open.spotify.com, log in, and open the profile. If you can't find it, see how to find someone's Spotify profile.
  2. Right-click the profile picture and choose Open image in new tab (Chrome, Edge) or Open Image in New Tab (Firefox).
  3. In the new tab, right-click the picture and choose Save image as.

The tab shows the image file on Spotify's image server (i.scdn.co), not the small circle from the profile. Spotify's Web API lists each profile picture with its own width and height, so what you save is the file Spotify serves (Spotify for Developers).

If Right-Click Doesn't Work: Use DevTools

  1. Open the profile in the web player.
  2. Open DevTools: F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows, Cmd+Option+I on Mac (Chrome DevTools docs).
  3. Click the Network tab, filter by Img, and reload the page.
  4. Click the request from i.scdn.co, open its URL in a new tab, and save the picture.

Download an Artist's Profile Picture

Use the same steps on the artist page. Spotify keeps artist images in several sizes (Spotify for Developers), so if the saved file looks small, use the DevTools steps and pick the largest i.scdn.co image. What a PFP Grabber or Viewer Can Do

Any Spotify pfp grabber or viewer can only fetch the picture the profile already shows, because the profile picture is part of Spotify's public profile information (Spotify for Developers). None can bring back an old picture, and none needs your Spotify password, so skip any site that asks for it.

If you plan to reuse a saved picture as your own, Spotify requires that profile pictures don't violate copyright, trademark or personal image rights (Spotify Support).
